Simple and healthy mango – pineapple smoothie

After I’ve finished my Yoga class, smoothie goes down so easily, especially the kind that taste like a tropical vacation. 

I’m blessed to live in Canary Islands. All year around is sunny with perfect temperature and it means that many fruits and veggies are available during the Fall and Winter.

I love smoothies! They’re a quick and easy way to have a nutritious breakfast or snack. I blend up one practically every morning. This sweet, creamy, citrusy, vegan, Vitamin C-packed smoothie is so refreshing and hits the spot.


  • 1 mango, cut into chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup water or almond milk
  • chia seeds, and coconut for garnish

Peel and diced your mango. Combine mango, banana, pineapple and water/milk into blender and blend until smooth. Pour into serving cup and top with chia seeds.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups. Serves 1 generously, or 2 smaller portions.
