Nice cream – A frozen treat made from a whip of sweet bananas. It’s free of unnatural sugars, processed ingredients, animal products, and chemicals and it’s sweet for your body mind and soul!
So instead of thinking purchased ice cream, think throwing frozen bananas and berries into a blender with coconut milk or yogurt! Instant banana berry vegan ice cream, perfect for people and kiddos of all diets.
Chia seed pudding is perfect anytime of day, from breakfast to an evening dessert after dinner. The plain yogurt gives it extra protein and the chia seeds make it nice and thick. It can be eaten topped with any kind of fruit.
As I like to play with flavors, I decide to make a combination of nice cream and chia pudding and believe me it was fantastic!
( For nice cream)
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1-inch rounds
- 2 cups mixed frozen berries
- ¼ cup coconut milk or natural plain yogurt, plus extra as needed
- Maple syrup (optional)
Place the frozen banana slices, frozen berries, and coconut milk or yogurt into a food processor and pulse until starting to break up. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then blend on high until a smooth, creamy ice cream forms. Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
Mix 1 cup of plain yogurt, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Leave it in refrigerator over night.
