With simple instructions and minimal prep time, these shells can be made in a matter of minutes. They’re quick and easy dinner for the whole family. Give taco night a healthified makeover with these Lettuce Wrapped Turkey Tacos!
- 1 pound or 500 gr ground turkey
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes chopped
- 12 whole lettuce leaves
- 1 small zucchini
- 1/2 avocado pitted, peeled, and diced
- 1/2 jalapeno pepper ( if like it chili)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp pepper, cumin, red paprika powder, dried oregano, parsley.
Add ground turkey to a skillet. Cook over medium heat for 8 min until browned. Add cherry tomatoes, zucchini, jalapeno, garlic and soy sauce. Allow to cook for 3-5 min more. Than add the spices. Stir it well and remove from the heat.
Fill every leave with the mixture. Add avocado pieces and sour cream or salsa if like. Serve and enjoy!
