Aroniaberry smoothie

Hi my dears! How everything goes? I want to thanks for your comments and support, it inspires me every day more and more to continue with my project! 🙂

Today, my inspiration was these lovely Aroniaberries ( also known as a chokeberry). They are very popular in my country and my mom has two bushes in her garden.

The aroniaberry has proven to be one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body’s cells from the damaging effects of oxidation. The second great benefit of consuming aronia berries is keeping good urinary tract health. The other benefits are  to  improve the circulation of blood, make blood vessels stronger and reduce the risk of heart disease; keeping blood pressure at normal levels; aronia can be very beneficial for people who want to prevent diabetes; anti carcinogenic effect; eyes protection; weight control.

This ‘super-fruit’ mixture of aronia, blackberry, cherry, banana, oatmeal, cashew milk and chia pudding will give to your body enough vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants for a day. The best way is to eat it in the morning so body will absorb all the benefits from fruits.

Recipe:                                                                                                                                                      for 1 big glass I used

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp oat meal
  • 2 tbsp aroniaberries
  • 2 tbsp blackberries
  • 1 tbsp cherries
  • 1/2 cup cashew milk

Put all ingredients into the food processor and blend it well. Pour into the glass or bowl and decorate with chia pudding. Bon apetite!
