Hi readers! How are you doing so far! Another Monday today and another beginning of the week. Starting a new week and starting a new day is the same. We need a lot of energy, right?
We can find out thousands of green smoothie recipes on the internet right now. I like to read how others do but also I really enjoy in my ‘laboratory’ (kitchen), to make it on my own way and of course to share with you. 🙂
This meal is rich in Vitamins, minerals, high in antioxidants, dietary fiber, proteins and healthy fat. Those ingredients will have impact on your body and keep it away from cancer, urinary infections, reduce digestion, helps lower high in cholesterol, protects liver, treat high blood pressure, etc.
Usually in this type of smoothies goes a mix of everything green (fruits, herbs and veggies) I did some changes. Here is the recipe:
- 1 frozen banana
- 120 ml water or any plant milk
- 1 leaf of Kale
- handful of chopped fresh celery
- handful of chopped fresh coriander or parsley
- 1 kiwi
- splash of mixed seeds (sesame, flex, chia, pumpkin, sunflower)
Blend it all together and serve in a pot or glass. For the top I used seeds and some dry apricot. Have a healthy week! Kiss
