Gambas al ajillo (Shrimps with garlic)


Hola chicas y chicos! These Shrimps you will love! Its so fast and easy to prepare and they are so tasty! Is going to take time to peel them but once you’ve done that it will take just 10 minutes to cook. 

I tried them when traveling in the Mediterranean and I fell in love with this kind of food. It is so full of energy and so rich in flavor.

Shrimps are low in calories and very good for your weight-loss diet. As well, shrimps are primarily made of protein. Three ounces of baked or broiled shrimps provides about 20 grams of protein. Aside from protein, they provide with plenty of nutrients like a selenium,  omega 3, vitamin B12, phosphorous, iodine and two types of antioxidants. Shrimps are bit high in cholesterol also. Anyway, always you can advise with your doctor.

Here is a recipe:

cooking time (5-10 min.)

  • 10 big shrimps
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • olive oil
  • parsley

 Clean the shrimps then chop garlic, and parsley  do it proportional to the amount of shrimp you will cook. Now poor some olive oil on a pan, heat it, when is hot put the shrimps and half away done the garlic and parsley then mix them well and voila!!! Gambas al Ajillo ready! Have a nice day! Big Kiss
