Today make your own avocado toast! This fruit should be on your table often!
This creamy fruit from South America contains nearly 20 vitamins and minerals, potassium(which helps control blood pressure), lutein (which is good for eyes), and folate (which is crucial for cell repair and during pregnancy). Is low in sugar but have a lot of calories. Avocado helps you to feel full longer.
As well as being delicious to eat, avocados are used in many health and beauty products. You can’t ignore avocados, they taste great, they do you good and they can make you look gorgeous too. In one of my next blogs I will write about using avocado for your hair or skin treatments.
- 1 avocado
- 1 small tomato (chop in small pieces)
- bit of pistachio (chopped)
- salt, pepper, basil
Avocado clean from the skin and mush it with a fork. Mix it with pistachio and spices. Squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon juice (if you like it). Spread the avocado puree on the toast, put the tomato and basil on top. Its ready to eat! Yummy
