Quinoa seed bowl


My breakfast usually begins with smoothies or healthy bowls. This morning I decide to start with Quinoa seed bowl.

Quinoa is one of the most protein-rich foods we can eat. Everyone knows why we need proteins in our body. It is also high in fiber, magnesium, B-vitamins,vitamin E, iron, amino acids, antioxidants etc. The most important is that Quinoa is gluten free!

Consuming 2-3 serving of whole grain foods per day can reduce the risk of: cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, colon cancer.

Another important thing is how to prepare Quinoa? Easy. First rinsing with a water before consuming.You can cook them 15 min. and add to your meal, salad  or just put them into hot water over night.

Here is the recipe for my healthy Quinoa bowl:

  • 1 big cup of quinoa seeds 
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 banana ( make a puree with avocado)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • couple of walnuts 

This is my idea, you can be creative and do some changes! Bon apetit!
